My capacity to love her is endless. I would wage wars for her, destroy kingdoms for her, walk the earth in search of a brief moment with her. Just a glimpse of her on the horizon could get me through the desert. I need no food or water, she is my sustenance. Every word I've ever read is her name. Any pain I have known is her absence. Her breath fills my lungs until she is all I breathe. Her image fills my mind until she is all I see. Every touch is a longing for her caress. The only sounds I know are the sweet echoes of her voice, urging me on.

When she embraced me it was as though we never parted. Like she was my mother and I was her daughter,     or maybe, I was the mother… but nothing else mattered. As though nothing could come between us, not distance, not time. I was hers and she was mine. A love that grew out from the roots of our souls and budded into this brilliant tree of life that bares itself before you. Not ashamed by its beauty, not hiding, just giving and giving until nothing is left… and it lifts off into the sky. Looking down at the world with wonder, and pity, that the kind of love that gave this tree flight is so unknown to human life.

I get distracted in thoughts of you… In thoughts of holding you I'm distracted by thoughts of kissing you I'm distracted by how my spine curves into you when I feel your breath against my neck, I'm distracted by your fingers pressing into me, how my heart, catches, in my chest, for a fraction of a moment every time I see you. I'm distracted when I hear your name… When I'm reminded of the intensity of my love, I'm distracted… By wanting you, needing you. Distracted by the way your eyes see into mine, deeper and more than anyone has seen.

There may be some woman, somewhere, who longs to be held, touched, or felt. On a good day she may sit at the throne of your manhood. Allowing you to weave yourself, tactfully, in and out of her hair.
